Students in Art II completed some successful drawings utilizing still life objects. Drawings depict a strong light source and a full value range. All drawings were completed with pencil/ charcoal mediums. 
Beginning Art I students started off this semester with a project connecting rhythm in terms of an art form. Students selected color palettes & used repetition & mixed media to interpret rhythm into their finished piece.
Art I students in 4th bell have been tackling this project - turning an ordinary object into an extrodinary art form through use of scale, balance, & observation. Proud of these results - keep at it students! Your drawing skills have improved so much this semester!
Art II students finished out our semester strong with these beautifully detailed TROMP L'OEIL assignments. It has been exciting to see students drawing skills grow throughout our course! Bravo!
Art II
It has been a PRINTMAKING frenzy in 1st bell art II! Students are loving the results of our photo transfer prints using linoleum cuts. Nice job artists!
Art I students have been experimenting with the use of positive/ negative space using botanicals and neutral palettes.
First bell Intermediate art students have done a beautiful job creating hands themed collages! Love seeing the stunning results -- photo above- sophmore student artist: Kayla Duerler
Stop by our HS library sometime in the month of October to check out work by our staff members! PERCEPTIONS will be on exhibit for the entire month beginning on October 3rd.
This challenging assignment in Art II has yielded some awesome results! Here are a few finished works from our fractured portrait series. Nice job 3rd bell!
Pathways to Home Charity 
This lovely group of Harrison HS students donated their time & artwork for this year's Pathways to Home golf scramble charity event. Thank you girls for your hearts to serve others in need!
